For turned parts in mass production, we not only have a large machine park with over 150 single-spindle and multi-spindle lathes – we also know how to use it. We are in a position to produce the most diverse precision turned parts with heterogeneous requirements quickly and effectively. We provide technical consulting, help with problems and bottlenecks - for instance, by shifting a turned part from one machine to another without any fuss. Just-in-time, just-in-quality: The well-organized procurement management at Richard Weiss reliably provides the necessary raw materials, including steel, brass, aluminium, stainless steel, and other materials. Competent buyers can observe and analyze markets and price developments, and optimally take economic aspects of procurement into consideration. Our longstanding good relations with our suppliers and our wealth of experience naturally stand us in good stead here – and our customers too.
In terms of quality assurance and quality management, too, we place high standards on every turned part that leaves our company. Using the latest measuring instruments, e.g. systems for the 100% inspection of precision turned parts, we ensure tight tolerances – also for mass production. After all, our customers need consistently high quality throughout the mass production process. And that goes for more than 500 million turned parts per year.
In our in-house tool-grinding shop, we can grind carbide, twist and step drills as well as section steels, thread millers and circular saws. Diamond grinding wheels are dressed, workshop drawings are generated, as are programs and illuminated drawings for NC grinding machines. The mechanical department ensures that machines are regularly serviced and, if necessary, repaired. In addition, the employees here produce various tools and equipment for their own needs.
