Our headquarters in Egesheim, at the heart of Europe’s cutting technology center, is just the place to be. And that’s how our customers feel too: some of them have been relying on turned parts from Richard Weiss ever since our firm was founded in 1946.

We make precision parts, work thoroughly, efficiently and reliably. The quality of our sophisticated turned parts derives from our location in Germany. This is where our employees, who make our company so special with their motivation, attitude and ability, have their roots. That leads to identification and strength for our joint mission – we do everything we can for the success of our customers!
In addition to our location in Egesheim, we have further space directly adjacent to our headquarters - 500 m away and covering around 32,000 sq m. If required, we can build and expand on this site within a very short time. After all, mass production needs a great deal of potential!
Richard Weiss employs around 300 people in Egesheim. With 98% of our own production, we produce precision parts for a wide range of industries. This flexibility is based, among other things, on a wide range of materials, as well as possible turning, milling and finishing processes, which cover our range of services. Turning, drilling, milling, thread rolling - as well as smoothing, clearing and honing – are all done in-house. For further surface treatment and finishing, we integrate long-term partners.
The broad potential of our machine park goes hand in hand with a high degree of vertical integration. A total of more than 150 single-spindle CNC lathes and multi-spindle lathes, as well as several dozen turned-part refinishing lines are all at your disposal. Richard Weiss produces more than 500 million turned parts every year. Of those, 30 million high-quality components are produced for the mechanical engineering sector alone. We have also produced the original Kalei press nut for many years now.
